Italy had just been born when the first amaretti began to be sold from this small centre of the Ligurian Apennine: aromatic, fragrant and very soft.
More than a century has passed since then. Everything has changed, except for the amaretti, which are taken out of the oven and wrapped each one individually, respecting the original recipe.
