Elah Dufour Novi Group

Elah Dufour Novi was set up in 1982 on the initiative of businessman Flavio Repetto and is represented in the confectionery sector by four well-established Brands of the Italian industry:

All our products are Italian-made in the three factories of the group: Novi L. (Alessandria), Bra (Cuneo) and Sassello (Savona).




History

Elah, set up in Genoa in 1909 by Francesco Ferdinando Moliè, produces Mixes for Creme da Tavola, Budini and Dessert (Puddings), Mixes for cakes and Caramelle Toffé (Toffee sweets).

It celebrated its first 100 years in business and success in 2009 launching new products.
Elah has become the true “Home-made confectionery” for families.

Dufour, set up in Genoa in 1926 by the Dufour family, produces Gelatine di Frutta Big Frut Gelée (Fruit Jellies), Bonbons di cioccolato Carousel (Chocolate bonbons), the special Morabon (Liquorice sweets) and Selz Soda (fizzy citrus and cola sweets) and a wide range of filled sweets.

Novi, set up in Novi Ligure in 1903, produces chocolate: Grandi Nocciolati, the exclusive Fondentenero and Gran Cru Nero Nero, the traditional Gianduja Piemonte, Gianduiotti, Otello praline, Crema Novi (spread).
It celebrated its first 100 years in business in 2003.

Baratti & Milano, set up in Turin in 1858, produces the characteristic specialties of the Piedmontese confectionery tradition: Gianduiotti, Cremini, Cuneesi, Braidesi, Praline alla Nocciola Piemonte (Chocolate).
It also produces the classic Caramelle “Baratti” high range, fine confectionery typical of the Ligurian Apennines: Amaretti Morbidi and Canestrellini (biscuits).
It celebrated its first 150 years in business in 2008.
In Italy, the four Brands are currently at the top of the market shares in their sectors. elah

In 2007, our Group was awarded the important European Prize on product excellence “European Candy Kettle Award”.

The Chairman of the Group is Flavio Repetto, who has been conferred with the title of Cavaliere Del Lavoro for his service to industry, the CEO is Guido Repetto.

The mission of our Group is to produce high quality at a fair price, respecting tradition.

We select all the raw materials at source, and on arrival to the factories they undergo detailed controls: cocoa beans, hazelnuts, almonds, milk, sugar, original fruit juices, gum arabic…

The same attention is dedicated to all the finished products.
